I started working with Stewart today, he looks after the Arboretum & Howard's Field area including the National Heather collection.
There was a dense patch of Cyclamen hederifolium that had gotten too infiltrated with grass which makes it harder to maintain, so we dug this up section at a time, then redistributed them more sparsely back in the same area. There was a lot of excess, so we planted up other areas that were sparse or bare to help give a better impact and cohesion of planting over a very large space.
