Nets around cages are being taken and stored for next year. Learnt how to plait a net like a fisherman. Two people required - we lay out to it's full size, then we fold the net length ways over and over until it is thin enough to be rolled into a fat long sausage. A person is required on either end to wind it in opposite directions to each other to do this.

Then one holds one end of the net and the other creates a slip knot on the other end then a length of the sausage is pulled through until it forms another loop big enough for another loop of sausage to go through. This is contd until all of it is plaited. Then end is
