Lily beetles attacks Fritallaria and Cardiocrinum. Frits are usually finished by the time they are a problem. Most damage is caused by the larvae.
On rhodies leaf hoppers spread bud blast - signs are notch like damage on bottom of leaves. They come out at night. Putting corrugated card on the ground can help monitor them. The grubs can kill plants. Taxus and strawberries can be badly damaged by them.
Lavender gets Rosemary beetle too.
Capsid bugs likes roses and fuchsias and attack when buds first appear.
To prevent or reduce rose rust - water plant at base.
