More seed sowing, this time for Trials - they are doing a sweet pepper trial. We used P84 module trays and filled them with Tref. We sowed 12 different varieties in each tray, a line for each variety. 1cm hole was dibbed into the compost then two seeds was put into per hole and covered back over. Some were coated in a bright green coating - these are treated with a fungicide called Thiram, so we had to be careful to wash our hands afterwards. There was dispute of where best to place the labels, at the back of the first cell or right at the front - this is a good opportunity to see how well either one grows. They were placed on the mist bench and will be grown in pots in a polytunnel.
