Helped with Orchid display, putting Tillandsia & Phalaenopsis in woks that had been placed in the pond in Tropical. Went in with waders to work on them. Used course bark as a decorative finish and to help hold plants in place.
Lost child - took them to the members front desk - this is usually a good place to take them to, if parent/ family etc isn't found by radio call etc.
Fargro bio-control arrived. Started putting them out especially the Aphidus ervi (bottle of 500) & A. colemani (bottle of 1000) as they had started to hatch. Used 8 thumbs pots, placing moist tissue at the bottom - sprinkled some of both into the bottom (2 colemani to 1 ervi mix) and placed them on their side on a corner of a bench in each of the service houses (1-6). I did this when I was inside the service house, placing three lots of thumb pots in House 1, and one in each of the 5 other service houses.
