Half day today. Cleared leaves again around the rock garden, this time Astilbe beds down at the bottom. Blowing them out with a leaf blower and gathering them up from the pathways. Then I did the watering for the South African house. The beds are arranged with the Oxalis collection on one bench, with the middle generally summer dormant plants, in growth and some flowering now (Tecophila) coming into flower. And some winter dormant plants, not to be watered. Same on the third bench at the side of the house. Some are dormant now but still display evergreen leaves. A lot of it is quite lush green at the moment.

Alpine looked at different gravel that they wanted to use for the Rock Garden and for pots.
