Finished from yesterday deadheading Buddleia davidii 'Nanho Blue' in the Country Garden. Was given a bed to work on, lifted out a Persicaria amplexicaulis, Iris 'Tarn Hows' & some Lysimachia ciliata 'Firecracker', to deduce patches of planting that had gotten too big, to redistribute plants for a better spread and to add new plants like Monarda 'Squaw'. A straightforward easy task took longer than expected, as bed was riddled with bindweed Calystegia sepium, roots wrapped around plants and in soil were extracted as thoroughly as possible and disposed of separately as general waste.
