6th November 2014

Weather: Sunny but properly cold - 2nd frost of the season (one three weeks earlier), this one harder I think.
Team: Formal

Worked with Billy. Cut Sarcoccoca confusa back from path and collected ripe berries for the Seed Team for propagation (Photo 1).

Photo 1: Sarcococca confusa - the berries are black when ripe.
Cut down Trycirtus hirta, fallen Podocarpus leaves, dead seedheads like Anemone 'Lady Guilmar' - strange curly leaved one (Photo 2) and Aruncus dioicus. Picked up dead strands of Tamus communis and raked leaves out of Thompson Memorial brook. Had 1-2-1 with Matthew Pottage.
