Department: Turf

Me and Brendan took out the ride ons mowed and hoovered a variety of places, whilst Nick used the side winder we followed after him - Seven Acres, cut again around the restaurant, I did the section near Glass again where my ride on had left quite a mess when it was wet two days again. The grass had already grown a little and it made a difference going over it again. Then I cut behind Glass. 

Then we went to the Fruit Model Garden to level out a bed that we were going to turf and decorate with some turf art (image of cherries). It has been rotovated, we tamped/ Wisley shuffled it.

Then we levelled it out with a rake, until it was as flat as we could and to a fine tilth. Then we put some top dressing on top, enough to cover the ground. It was too wet and clumpy to be ideal, but the weather is hot, so hopefully it will break down fine enough. Then it should be ready to be seeded.
