We cleaned Dahlia tubers from Formal, getting the mud from cracks etc. with a thin peastick and taking out the rotten squishy ones and also scraping off any mold where possible. We put them in crates and covered them lightly with mounded soil. These will be watered and fed to encourage them to grow new shoots. They are done like this, as it makes it easier to obtain cuttings from them, which is what they're intended for. These are placed in House 1 in Dutch trolleys.
