We sowed some lettuce called 'All Year Round' for pricking out workshops in 9cm pots. We sowed two bad ones (too thickly and one too thinly) as demonstrations amongst right examples. Sowing too much means that seeds are more likely to damp off or etoliate. This can encourage a likelier chance of Botrytis.
